I still think the LR one is better, I don't see any 4x4 info on an uncle Tom Razz

I think the LR one is great too ...just think that as a portable Tomtom is a great machine for those that don't have a the OEM unit Razz

No not really
....there will eventually be a "winner" system that evolves from a a format war....I added the Toyota details to show that I knew about it & although I wouldn't buy another Tom-Tom I would change/upgrade to a superior system.
That is where I see the situation going - you may get the option to have a "plug in the dash" removable system or a more up market built-in integrated system....eventually one or a couple of system will win & others will die....

Note
.....I got the D3 system as part of the HSE package......one of many extras
......a Tom-Tom is "cheap"...........but a real target for the yobbos nicking them......or just breaking in 'cos they see the sucker holder or mark that this leaves
 BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Cubby is easy hiding place for my TomTom - and it is never stuck to the screen (unless DSL is in the car Whistle )
