As has been pointed out by Kummu24 I incorrectly listed the tyre the correct size is 255/55/20 not 255/50/20 sorry for any confusion.

The only possible answer I can think is that as it has LR on the side wall it came from the landrover factory and it had a sell by date on it in other words you would not want a car with year old tyres on it so they deliberately make a small hole in it we’re it’s ok to be repaired and then sell them to the tyre trade as seconds, maybe wrong but they do come up quite often with a repair in the same place.

Only as a suggestion, a picture of the repair (location in relation to sidewall) might help.
If it's a proper repair and in the main area of the tread, this is as safe as it can be, and I have no idea why it has not sold.
Had I still been using this size, I would have snapped it up, it is a bargain.

If you look closely at the picture the repair can be seen easier if you enlarge picture one inline with the tread bars.

I guess that the fact this hasn’t been snapped up is based on the few folks running this tyre size on a D3/D4. That’s said many of us are fitting RRS wheel sets of late so I wouldn’t think the number is that small.
For those that are running this size, I agree with Trailered Movements if it were me, even if I didn’t need it today, I’d be snapping this up and putting it aside
That said, as you know I am not using this size. In terms of your sale, you might have better luck by switching your ad across to the RRS forum, which as far as I know Martin allows for long time members.
If you do, I’d double the price back up though - this is bonkers cheap, still a bargain at twice the price and so many of them use this sizeCorris Grey SDV6 D4 2015 HSE

Hi,thanks for the information I did join the Range Rover forum but you have to make so many posts before you can advertise any thing for sale so not sure how to proceed?

I would imagine a mail to Martin would sort it? The forums are all sister sites I believe and it’s not like you just have a handful here as well.Corris Grey SDV6 D4 2015 HSE
