That's correct Bolts down to the original shifter mount holes. Lifts and offsets shifter up into correct position for new console. You'll need 4 new bolts ( If I remember correctly, I think they were M6 x 20 )
I think the part number was UFN500020 if that's any help..

Did you get the shifter cable and the hazard switch ?
I'd rather be doing my dash again - I'm attempting both my upper rear arms tomorrow (MOT advisory)
Would you say this is a modification one would need to inform the insurance company about?2005 D3 V8

Yes. leave dashboard top in place.
I would say inform insurance company about any modification. Mine's off the road at the moment getting a few jobs / mods done before winter, but will be informing insurance before it goes back on

Hope that goes well. Took my mechanic 7 hours to cut one of mine out a few weeks ago!
