Won't start after inlet manifold replacement |

Just changed the inlet manifolds on my 2010 3.0 D4. Now it won't start. It cranks but won't start. The battery voltage low, start motor warning comes up after a crank or 2, and I have a Maf sensor p010d error. Is that enough to make it not start? I have bled the diesel vent on top of the engine. How much pressure should there be there? Diesel runs out, but doesn't shoot out. Is that how it should be?

Maf sensor error should not stop it from starting, you need to bleed the top valve with ignition on, then after 30 seconds repeat the ignition cycle, it should spurt fuel out with ignition on.
Check all you connections, di youi have the battery and looms disconnected . You need to boost the battery if its to low it wont start.

All connections are ok, the battery was disconnected while the inlet manifolds were replaced. It's been on charge since yesterday after I tried to start it. Low battery warning won't go away even with charger on. . .
With ignition on diesel first bubbles a centimeter or two up from the vent. If I bleed more it just pipples until the ignition cycle is started again.

There should not be any bubbles when bleeding just a steady consistent flow.
Try another fully charged battery, a battery should be capable of cranking the engine for 2 to 3 minutes not (continuous) before giving up. It can when others can't,

No bubbles, it will squirt diesel a centimeter or two, and slowly dies down to nothing. If I turn it completely off and then on again it does the same. Seems like there is no air in the line. I don't see any leaks anywhere either.
Battery is about 2 years old, maybe I should try charging it while not connected to the vehicle first? Charger is old, but has never been a problem before. But the disco has more electronics than an other vehicle I have had.

It seems as I have good pressure with the ignition on but after I try to start it there isn't much pressure. I guess I should go over the unions on the diesel piping.

This could be caused by a weak battery, starter is drawing all the battery power! It can when others can't,

Changed the fuel filter and made sensor. Also went over all connections, both electric and diesel lines.
Bled the diesel line again, but still won't start. I checked the live values on ny iid tool and am only getting 600kpi fuel pressure.
I still have the same problem as before with bleeding. Very good (I think) initial pressure, but it dies down to a trickle.
Going to try a different battery now. Hopefully it will work.

And no codes for low fuel pressure or anything engine related.
Only codes are for rear lights ( P O replaced with newer style) and passenger door lock.

It ran before with the same fuel filter before being pulled apart so it's not going to be that.
How clean were you with the entire process? No chance you got and dirt into a fuel line that made its way into the HPFP?
Mine did take a little time to start after I did my manifold, but nothing unexpected. As suggested, put the battery on charge else, best check the codes to see what is erroring.

Fuel filter has been changed, as it was almost time anyway.
I have checked and have no codes, but just can't build pressure in the rail. I only get 640kpa, and need 30000+ to start.
I did get a tip that it is most likely air or possibly the valve on the high pressure pump that is not opening. They said to spray silicon spray in the throttle body and try to start it. When it then fires up the valve should open and pressure should build up.
Anyone with other ideas on how to get that valve to open?

My 2012 D4 RH inlet manifold started leaking and I was tempted it do it myself... until I saw this post!
