rounded torx screw front bumper

Was in the process of removing my front bumper to replace the AC condenser unit. and one of the damn T40 screws was so seized it rounded

So now I have the situation where 3 of the four screws are off, but one is now there and rounded. Obviously I can take an anglegrinder to it but where does one get replacement for these torx screws?

Hiya,

T40 torx are usually an m8 thread I think (give one of the removed a test in an m8 nut) so dependent on length and rush, flea bay or Amazon should be good.

Try a straight screw driver in it before resorting to an angle grinder.

A good soak in WD40, then use a pair of multi grips locked on tight. Depending on skill level, drill a 6 mm hole in it and use an "ezy out"

Heat it with a small blowtorch or Dremel heat torch.
