Car a bit hesitant after MAF sensor change |
|
I was having issues with my car stalling, particularly on very hot days, when I would be at very low speed & revs. Like pulling up into traffic on the highway or traffic lights etc. I would turn off and on again and everything was good I could carry on my merry way
So after cleaning the MAF a bunch of times, and the issue going away for a bit, I replaced the MAF. Now. I dont have the stalling issue anymore, but I do feel the car isnt as responsive as it used to be. Its a little bit lumpy and reluctant.
Its very very subtle but I am sure I can feel something.
I notice in the IID tool docs there is a MAF replacement routine, but that doesnt apply to my L319 model
Is there anything else I can check or service to ensure I am getting good throttle response and smooth power delivery?

Use live values on the Iid tool to check both MAF and MAP, put the old one back on and compare. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
