I guess that could be an option, although not really sure how strong it would be. Think I'll persevere with the brackets if at all possible.
I've been trying to find A Bar for ages, but finding one for a reasonable price really is like looking for a needle in a haystack now
I managed to get one for a good price last week, luckily for me listed in the wrong category.

Gary, looks like it is taking shape. Have you fixed all the other problems?

These A Bars are so spendy now I’ve seen steel bumpers/bull bars shipped to my door for less. They sure do look good, though!
I’ve come close to getting one for a reasonable price, but just missed out. The hunt is most of the fun, anyway. 2008 LR3 HSE, 4.4L V8

Hi mate
Many thks, hope ur good
alas haven’t been able to do anymore in relation in getting the disco back on the road because everytime I try my back has other ideas , lol
I’ve got left to refit, throttle body , fan cowl upper and lower , fan, TCM, battery , replace a broken temp sensor connector / pins ,
Hopefully I’ll get a good day so I can get more refitted , once that’s done I’ll then see if I’ve resolved the errors
