Manual Gearbox overhaul

2005 D3 but can find virtually no info on this…

I’ve got to replace the bearings on this box,
1, anyone got an exploded view kicking about.?
2, can I split the box at the row of bolts joining the 2 casings. I’ll remove the transfer box to make it easier to handle..
3, anyone know anyone who’s done one & maybe wants to do this for me as currently sat here with a broken arm.. 😰

Sorry to hear about your arm Big Cry

Would rebuilding the box be taking the long road given your circumstances! Would you not be better to consider a used replacement?

I never advocate fitting used parts unless they are static components, but in your case perhaps this would be the better route!

Thanks so much guys, both really useful info, I may get a used box but I really want to strip gearbox but my arm isn’t up to much at the moment..

Much appreciated.. I’ll let u know what I do & result as I progress..
