EGR delete patch install question
Hi All
Probably me being dumb but I have purchased the BAS EGR delete patch and updated my iiD tool but it is not clear to me how to update the car. Searching here and you tube have drawn a blank and I don’t want to Wade in blindly and muck things up. Any help gratefully accepted.Just 'cause you got the power... that don't mean you got the right.

As Pete says, connect a supply. Then there should be a new EGR Patch option in the ECU Flash menu (I think).2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

<gone>2015 BMW 520D SE (not my favourite car)</gone>

Have you put the file on the tool, you then need to update the ecu with the new file, dont forget to do the fuel lift pump routine before trying to start it.

That’s what I thought but couldn’t find any thing EGR related. Hopefully I can talk to Pete Bell tomorrow.Just 'cause you got the power... that don't mean you got the right.

All sorted, I hadn’t installed the “custom” download on my iiD. It is easy to do via the ECU flash menu.
