Hi everyone. It’s been a while but I’m back oh no, I hear some say
Just bought 66 reg D4 but really don’t want to trash the wheels (19”) off road so am thinking of the Terrafirma 18” steels with spacer. Anyone gone this way before? Any advice/warnings most gratefully received.MY2016 SDV6 Graphite in Fuji White....... as I like to see the mud and scratches 🤪

Hi Mr Dog.
Long time ...... think there’s a vid I posted many moons ago of both you and I in our respective D3s going through the lake at Tong.
I’ll look for it and post.
Meantime enjoy your new D4. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
Hi Boodog, I don't believe they'll fit over the AdBlue bottle but would love to be corrected as I'd consider the same too. I'll watch this thread 1978 Series 3 88 Military Green (Gone)

Hi Stranger
I ran Compomotive PD1881's on my EU6 D4's and the spare did fit in place, so there's a chance the Terrafirma's will as well.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Did the EY06 have the AdBlue tank LT? I think that's the potential drawback with the later models1978 Series 3 88 Military Green (Gone)

AdBlu came in on late 2015 models I’ve seen 65 plates with AdBlu, not sure about 15 plates though. Certainly my 15 plate D4 was still EU5.
I ran the PD1881’s on both. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

My Disco 4 registered June 2015 (15 plate) is EU6 using Adblue. It was the first that the dealer had sold. So late 15 reg cars may have it.
Beware, because services at main dealers have missed filling the Adblue twice based on the fact they don’t expect it on a 15 reg.Gary

That's probably a benefit though. If they had filled it that would have cost you ~£75 given their charge rates MY2016 SDV6 Graphite in Fuji White....... as I like to see the mud and scratches 🤪

Why not order the TuffAnt steelies and not use spacers?
Hi pjrb, have you experienced Tuffant steelies fitting over the AdBlue bottle? If so, I'd be keen to know the tyre size1978 Series 3 88 Military Green (Gone)

It was under the pre-paid 5 year service plan I purchased when I bought the car new!Gary

Word of caution - when we fitted one to the front to check clearances on full locks my tyre shop wouldn’t allow them to be fitted. Clearance down to 2-3mm on both locks at all suspension heights. After some discussion with TuffAnt and Phil at No Road Club who I bought off they said to go back and ask that all 4 were fitted before checking clearances. That worked and I now have them on the car
