Got the exact same reply when I requested a RRS manual from Haynes

Just asked Haynes for the same thing - so this is latest status;

Interesting thread, I actually mailed them yesterday. The extract from their resonse below may help

Although I have found Haynes Manuals invaluable in the past, I have found that more modern ones tend to avoid the more complex jobs with a 'refer to dealer' Teflon shoulder nudge.
On my Volvo 740, I had two Haynes manuals; the older one contained masses of detail most of which was relevant to my more modern version, yet the newer one even referred you to the dealer for a simple strip/rebuild of the sunroof, a procedure fully documented in the older manual for exactly the same sunroof design 
Probably more useful than a Labour politician tho, so I'll be applying anyway... Dr. Ian Malcolm:

It took years for them to bring one out for the td5 d2 aswell although discs were available from lr
