Suspension! Gearbox! Or gremlins........ |
|
First post for a long time, knew it couldn’t last
Drove the short 7 mile to work yesterday and in the last mile the left hand suspension warning light came on ‘amber’, thought nothing of it until I went to go home. After starting her up warning light remained on, I checked the controls on the center consol and nothing working, I even tried the lo range switch.....this did work however stayed in lo range.
I limped home at under 30mph (benefit of island life) but just short of home the old girl was on her bump stops.
So parked up safely and that’s where she remains.
Looking to do a hard reset later but would appreciate any polite n helpful pointers

If you're on the bumpstops chances are you have a leak in the air system or even a failed compressor but given how these cars are susceptible to electrical gremlins, the hard reset could be worth a go. Won't do any harm.
If that doesn't fix it, need to get codes read. .
