Hi all
I have decided to change the front anti roll bar bushes as there’s some clunking and visually they look tired.
My question is how do I remove the upper nut from the caps. I can barely see them let alone remove them. Any advice gratefully received

This may help.

I searched for "ARB".
Just a word of caution, I am waiting for some work to be done on my D4 (lockdown pending) as it also has the front-end dreaded clunk on road bumps. The 'professional' diagnosis for me was lower arm bushes (having been advised people often believe it to be ARBs). You might want to have a good look at the oil-filled bushes (or get someone who knows) before you go to the trouble of replacing the ARBs only to find it is not a cure.
Just my thoughts.

AS Kilovolt says check the lower arms first because I just booked mine in for the ARB to be done and when we checked they are ok and its the lower arms that need doing.
Going in this week to get them done. Faultmate MSV-2

It's a PITA but you'll get there one click or 1/6 turn at a time. Other jobs on these cars can be far worse!
