| Front Passenger Side Door Lock |

Hi There,
I hae a Discovery 4 HSE on a 63 plate. Just recently it has delveloped a very strange fault indeed. It has the touch sensor door handles for locking and unlocking.
The fault is that if you touch any of the door handles except the front left door all the doors unlock except the front left door. The manual chromed swith by the internal door latch twitches but the door does not unlock. On the other hand if you touch the front left door handle all the dorors including that door will unlock.
The front left door will lock when triggered by any of the other doors but will only unlock when triggered by itself.
As it will unlock when triggered on that door is the actuator ok? Or is this a sign that the actuator is on its way out?
I do thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give me and know that I am in the right place to get the best avdvice possible.

Yes sounds like the door actuator is dying. Advanced Factors can supply a new one and there are loads of info on how to change it on the board.

Thank you for your rapid reply Flack. I had a feeling it was going to end up expensive. With the touch sensors it looks like everything is about 3 times more expensive than without.
