I have a LL fitted phone cradle in the lid of my cuddy box. Does any one have a wiring diagram of one of these please as land rover do not do a fitting kit nor do I want to part with 107 plus vat for one, I have paired my phone by blue tooth, but no wanting it on show and as a semi perminate fix, mounted on double side Velcro to the underside of the lid. What I want to do is cut down a old phone charger wire and wire it into the love and neutral feeds on the cradle.
The contacts are so Small I cannot get my multi meter on them

Even if you manage to connect it properly, you will probably have problems with the software.
My car's SW was changed:
1. when I changed from a nokia 6310 to a 6310i
2. when I changed from the nokia 6310i to a nokia 6230
3. when we found out that the Software version of the nokia 6230 was too recent for the LR software installed in my car.....
So even with one type of phone, when software didn't match, there were annoing problems.
When changing to a smartphone, I threw out the cradle and went for bluetooth with an active Brodit holder fitted to the dashboard.
And at last, I can use the fridge for cooling decent sized bottles (with the cradle, all I could cool was tin cans or children drinks...)Some people get by

Bootneck ...
Is it the factory fit car kit or the LR aftermarket kit ?G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
Its the factory fitted one. All I really want is the power to save me having to have a lead going up to the box, everything else is fine by blue tooth , just want to hide the phone from prying eyes as it will just be left in the car.
I was very conscious when I was on the mainland that my palm phone make a very tempting target sat charging where the ashtray used to be.

With the wiring from the LR phone cradle, I doubt that it will be charging when the car is not running.
So the phone will be hidden, but it will not load anyway.... you can put is as well in the glove box or in the side of the door, or in your pocket.
My palm is charging when i am driving when needed. I take it with me when I leave the car.
Or are you intending to have the phone permanently in the car?
In such a case, use your palm for something else and get hold of the phone the cradle is intended for....Some people get by

The numbers next to "base plate telephone" - D337 ...look at the last digit ..for example C2776 -15 ...15 being the pin number of the connector.
If you remove the top of the center consul there is a connector there which joins to a small wire which goes to the top of your consul lid.G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
