Just my opinion, but I think the D5 styling suits the smaller DS so much better. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE

It's about 5.5 hours on a conventional 3 pin... just over 2 hours on 7.2kw and about 20 minutes on a rapid charger
I'm having a 7.2kw charger unit installed at my house next week. The thing is that it's a perfectly reasonable course of action. We live in a "buy/rent it, use it a bit, replace it with shiny new, repeat" society. If you have a vehicle that meets all of your needs and can be kept running nicely for reasonable cost, keeping it is a good idea. Yes, we want the "shiny new" but it's usually a more expensive option. Just the depreciation of a new vehicle will pay to keep an old one on the road for a decent period. The main reason for the 2nd hand price increases is that you can't get a new build at the mo due to the chip shortage...my DS took six months ...and I was lucky as they pulled production soon after. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Wise words. I have long felt this way and tend to buy older and keep them running on some of what a couple of new shiney cars would cost on the monthlies. I'm usually quids in to be fair each month with no finance payments but 5 cars to maintain/restore still costs, however the massive plus side for me is that I have a load of value remaining in the car when I come to sell it. Well, it may be the explanation, but it doesn't happen in the rest of the range, and it also happens, perhaps more, in the "old defender" ... which I don't understand either, even though it is already a cult car! lost in translation!

This month LR were due to build 36k vehicles, that's now down to 14k due to the component shortage with all build focus being on FFRR, RRS and Duffender .....so prices of 2nd hand are reflecting this.
