My Diesel D3 was stable at that on the Autobahn . I asked at work ( LR) why it was vehicle speed limited as its not actual at max engine speed . 112 mph achievable in 5th & 6th gear on D3, and was told Max speed was set by LR Marketing , Petrol's were set at about 120mph

Not done 112 but was following a car on the motorway and only when I looked down did I realise I was doing 105 ... completely stable and very smooth..

I've crossed Germany a few times with a fully loaded D4 with two bikes on a tow bar carrier. The D4 has no problem cruising up to its limiter at 118mph indicated. It feels like it would go a lot faster without the limiter.
At that speed it's comfortable, stable, easy to drive but things in the distance arrive very quickly and a tank of fuel doesn't last long MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

we did 123 max pushing it once on the way to Calais not to miss the train and it was fun to look people getting the f away from incoming "howitzer round"
oh do not look at fuel consumpition during fast run

I've hit the speed limiter on a couple of occasions, but not fully laden. Certainly very stable.

There are 10 types of people in this world: Those who understand binary, and those who don’t.
I can also advise that Oztent bags are not rated to 125mph (3 gps devices validated this number) and will burst at this speed if there is the slightest gap in zip to let the wind in.
Can also advise you do not keep an eye on fuel consumption when performing this experiment.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

The amount of Red Bull and Relentless I had consumed in the previous 24 hours, my eyes were sat about 6ft in front of the car
I averaged 17mpg or so on that particular tank so fair to say we saw under 12 at those speeds.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
