P0587-1C (28) - no power

Hello All,

After a long saga with my D3 leading to the replacement of the HPFP, I have a new fault where it has no power. I think actually it doesn't rev. Need it to happen again so I can check. I have no doubt that it will oblige.

So far this has happened when I restarted the car e.g. after leaving it parked (about 45 mins in one case and 15mins in another).

The fault code I get is P0587-1C (28) Speed control multi-function input A circuit is stuck - General electrical failure - circuit voltage out of range.

When I clear the fault it drives fine.

I do have an intermittent fault on the cruise control - sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes it doesn't activate at all.

I also have U3003-17 (AC) Battery voltage - General electrical failure - circuit voltage above threshold.
Not sure if this is a cascaded fault or an independent fault.

I changed the battery as I have no idea how old the one in it was.

Anyone come across this? I was wondering about throttle sensors / voltages.
