O/S/R window goes up and straight back down

Has anybody got any ideas, my OSR window closes on the one touch operation, but comes straight back down to half open. I have treid playing with the front and rear switch, closing it other than on the one touch but it keeps doing the same thing?
Has anybody found a way of turning off the mode lights in the door handles?

Russell,
This happened to me once on a Merc I had, but the problem was caused by my son's head hanging out of the window Rolling with laughter

only kidding. Kids were not even in the car when it first happened. Think it might be a trip to dealers.

This may work:-

1. Wind window all the way down & keep holding the switch for about 5 seconds after window is fully down.
2. Push and hold down for another 5 seconds.
3. Wind window all the way up & keep holding the switch for about 5 seconds after window is fully up.
4. Push and hold up for another 5 seconds.

Mark.

If you haven't had this sorted, there is a software update that addresses (what sounds like) this issue on IDS 119-01 (v.19).

A software update has been released to address window bounce. Loss of one touch operation is cured by following the instructions in the manual.

Had the same drama with our car. Then the loan car also had the same problem with the same window (rear left). Dealer said it was a programming issue.

window bounce

I got my D4 on Friday and it was bouncing back on the left rear window....unbelievably the salesman sorted this out Shocked

Herewith the procedure:

Hold the window button up. The first 2 to 3 times it will bounce back. The fourth time or so the window will now go to the top. Once closed hold for 3 seconds, release and lift again holding for 3 seconds. You will hear a faint clicking side inside the switch. This confirms that the window is now reset.

The same procedure can be applied to all windows where required.

This worked on mine.
