No need to remove steering wheel if you’ve got an Iid tool Thumbs Up

Now I am really confused. How can iid tool mechanically align the steering wheel to be center when driving straight? I thought the that iid tool only can let the car know (calibrate) what is the angle of the steering sensor when the car is driving straight.
