I've had that one.....
On mine it was a faulty wire in the rear parking sensor loom. New loom needed under warranty.

Having the same issue on an MY12, camera & filters replaced twice, just had a new loom (Fri) & it went again on Sat night, intermittent fault as always, waiting for the next time it goes so I can immediately try the other cameras, if they are out as well it may mean the control unit. Paul.

Was exactly the same on mine. There's three months left on the warranty and this problem is intermittent. It spent two days at the Lewes dealership this week but behaved itself. 20 minutes after leaving, it recurred. It's devilish inconvenient trying to arrange a time for it to be looked at when the problem happens to be present.

Sorry to drag up a (really) old thread, but I’m experiencing exactly the same intermittent issue. It’s happened 3 times in two months. The last two occasions it has cleared itself, this time it’s still an issue after a couple of lock and leaves......
Anyone else had similar and if so how as it fixed?

2012 HSE reverse camera and sensors. It is still intermittent, more off than on, but deffo seems related to connection as it’s the closing of the rear upper door that either knocks it off or on!
I’ll get around to stripping it down and checking it over when the weather improves. 2012 D4 HSE - yay!

Had this on mine and got underneath and pushed the wiring away from the metal edge on the outer most passenger side as this was the one that seemed to be the cause of the problem when wet - no message for the last 3 weeks since so its on my list to take off the back bumper and check Must stop buying shiny toys....

Thanks, and now that you mention it, I did think it seemed more of a problem when it was wet....... but then it’s always wet at the moment 2012 D4 HSE - yay!

fairly easy to reach the outside wires on the rear - if it is lifted up from the metalwork below that might be enough to be functional till you can properly sort... Must stop buying shiny toys....
