I’ve had three conversations with people who bought cheaper (but not the cheapest) lights and lightbars all of which failed either through water ingress or “bulbs” blowing.
Pays yer money......
Somehow I’ve managed to survive 16 years of LR ownership without ancillary lighting. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE
2017 FFRR SDV8 Autobiography
Talk of KC and Cibié reminds me ... I have a pair of "brand new" Lucas DX95s somewhere in the garage. Bought about 5 cars ago and never fitted. The relay and wiring got used to fix something else and I just never got round to fitting them. Mainly due to fear of fecking up the alloy bumper on the X1/9.
I wonder how powerful a set of LEDs I could squeeze into them?.

Did see this and reviews don’t look too bad , seems such a mindfield when it comes to lightbars , haven’t looked at Cree yet , got an A bar for my D3 and wondering if a lightbar would suit it over spots
Did see this pic a while back ref some discreet lighting
I may have just been swayed towards a lightbar integrated into the grill, that does look quite smart! Maybe I should be looking for another grill first!

That's exactly why I went with the pay once, cry once method. The Lightforce HTX2s cost me $1040 (20% sale 8) ) but I know they are great quality and have a good warranty.
I also have lots of night off roading planned over the next 12 month.

Hiya
Must admit have seen lightbars also fitted in the standard D3 grills, including seeing them lower down by the number plate , also got to see if a curved led lightbar will look better inside the front soft A nudge bar I got a little while ago
Did get the plate and switch , as per example pic , so can at least isolate it

i am a firm believer in the 'buy cheap buy twice' club. I have probably had over 20 different chinease light bars and every single one without fail has ended up being thrown away over the last few years. I now have settled for Stedi or lazer
lights and i am loving them
I currently have 2 7 inch lights from stedia and they are awesome - they and the back lazer lights run off LR looms

Fabricated a custom bracket with mounts and had it powder coated, because no one makes anything for the RR sport, so you have to get creative! 2003 BMW M5- 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black
