Hi all (again)
Is there any way of turning off the sensor for the front brakes on my 2005 d3?
They have plenty of life left in them so I’d like to just turn off the sensor.
TIA

If the sensor has been damaged the leads can be cut, striped and connected together.
This should be viewed as a temporary fix until the sensor is replaced.
Brake pad sensors are a Mot checked item and not expensive.
If the sensor is intact then any false alarm is probably due to a poor connection and the shorting fix will not work.
There is a connector under the wheel arch lining and this is not too difficult to access. Follow sensor leads to the lining, prise lining away from wheel arch and pull out connector. First and most likely location of any open circuit and where a new sensor is connected.
