Rear airbag ripped open - dust cover layer or actual air bag
Jacked the new-to-us D4 up to check the brakes and found this on the passenger side:
Looks like there's a bit of a twist in it. The rubber seems very thin so I'd assume is a protective dust/dirt shield layer rather than the actual airbag bag itself? Should it be ok to drive on for a week or two until a replacement is sourced?Mine - modified MY03 LT L318 Discovery 2a HSE Td5 15P

I ran some of mine for years way worse than that, at one stage I had rubber hanging off so just cut it off. Replaced eventually but it was a good few years on.
