To make the diesels compliant they just need an E marked DPF fitted by an approved company. There is a few out there.

it seems more complicated than just fitting a Dpf, which is a whole heap of challenges in itself.

I'm sure many on her would be keen to know Thumbs Up

It is MUCH more complicated than just fitting a DPF.

To comply with EU6 emissions, you will need a DPF, high and low pressure EGR system, Nox monitoring and Adblu

No matter how much you love your D3, it's not going to happen

If you can live with the economy, a 4.4 would be ideal

But mine is a G4, so parking in multi story is a no-no Laughing

You can get a kit fitted to update a 2.2 defender to euro 6 but nothing else LR. Shame as a D4 commercial would be my ideal next vehicle but has to be euro 6.

To be honest seeing I do such low mileage my next one will definitely be a petrol V8, always dreamed of having a V8 , would convert mine in a heartbeat to a 4.4 but can’t see me getting much change out of 8- 10k

Very nice and u saying that saw this gorgeous G4 on eBay , plus with the ULEZ can only see petrols going up in price

Bet the D4 5.0 is extremely nice as I believe after having the tensioner guides and seal done on the supercharger there a solid engine , of course u will know extremely more than myself

Oh wow, didn’t realise that with regards to the sequence of number plates .

Assume that’s the going price for them and can’t see them dropping in price with so many road schemes being introduced , therefore making them more popular

Mine has been in daily use since getting it back, in fact my little Astra has barely moved.

Although the last week has been very bad for me, After over 13 years of faithful friendship and companionship, the last of my trio of dogs died, My JRT just survived a major stroke, but no one was aware until the last day of his life that he had a massive tumour in his stomach which as it turns out is what caused his stroke. So last week he had to be put to sleep. I held him in my arms to the end. Absolutely heart broken.

But then I did something I really shouldn't, I started looking at the dogs in rescue centres again and those in foster care, I really shouldn't have, but then a dog just stood out to me, at 2 years old was about to be put to sleep because he barked out of a low window in this stupid woman's house who took the dog on as a rescue. Although he really needed to be collected yesterday, We are still coming to terms with what has just happened as it was unexpected, however, while giving this idiot mental support and advice for the rest of this week, as well as moving business premises, My partner and I are going down to Devon, spending the night at a hotel, then coming back with a dog.

We had actually planned on around 3-6 months of no dogs, going travelling etc... but after over 16 years of dogs in the home, realised how horrible it is without one. So travelling is being put to one side and giving this dog a new home.

So lets hope my Discovery is good for me, as it is around 6 hours drive each way.

Well, my business is finally moving to a new site, out of an expanding travellers site, to a well known posh working farm. And only 200 yards away from the each other, so the move should have been easy.

But all I am going to say is….

Punctured tyres! Both my Discovery 3’s got punctures on the way out of the old yard 🤬🙄😤
This has delayed everything by a day and a half!

But the D3 worked like a champion today. 5 vehicles and 4 trailers moved so far.

Can’t wait for the move to be over!
