Dash Top Removal
Hi All, Can anyone give me some hints or tips on how to remove the dash top from discovery 3 or is there a how to anywhere on the site that anyone can point me in the direction of.

Im converting a commercial to a passanger someone has put plastic pipes throughvfrom the back s put some scuffs on the dash top .

Hi there:
This was something I did a few months ago. I have purchase the workshop manual (pdf format) on ebay where the process to remove the dashboard panel is explained step by step. Get yourself a nice torx bit set. It took me 9 hours to take it off and about 6 hours to put everything back together. I am including some pictures so you can get and idea of the work involved.

Interesting, is the manual to which you refer this one?
Not exactly that seller, but description is similar. I am sure its equivalent to the one I get. Good luck

Arrgh! What a ridiculous design. LR just cannot seem to do things properly like other manufacturers do. As the top looks to be a separate section to the rest of the dash, surely it would not have been difficult to design it to be easily removable without spending a day ripping everything out Not such a Disco Newbie now!
