Knock at low speeds
I'm gradually ticking off faults I knew the car had but this one has caught me off guard.
So I have a knock / clunk.
When turning left and the car is on a slight gradient I get a few knocks, I'm am preying it is not the diff.
I have checked under the car and the inner shaft boot IS split, at its last MOT it's only pickup was as follows.
Offside Front Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement (5.3.4 (a) (i))
Could it be that this has failed?

Yeah it's probably the bush that's knocking and can be more pronounced under braking.
You're going to have to do it anyway so might as well start there. Check the upper ball joints and the other lower arm bushes, drop links, & ARB fittings before you start. Don't ignore that split CV boot as grit and water ingress will wreck the joint. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

You entered the "money pit" on the day you bought it!
You'll get used to it after a while, and a certain forum member will no doubt be along soon to tell you. "It's only money" yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Haha I phrased the wrong, an unexpected money pit..
I am well aware this could be a £2k a year hobby, still it only stands me at £7 up to now for new side light bulbs front and rear.

£7 to £2k a year? Let's hope you stay closer to the former rather than the latter
A realistic annual cost is somewhere between £500 and £1,000, some years that will only be servicing and less than £500. Other years it will be much more and will depend on it's past maintenance record.
Also, factor in, the position of the Earth relative to everything else in the visible sky, Ice cream sales, the LR God's, and how lucky you feel. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
