Cable Tie Mount Identification

With the spare wheel removed and looking up on the left hand side (looking forward) near the rear wheel there is a cable tie mount (if this is the correct description) which supports a hose/tube (see photo below).

The approximate size of the cable tie mount is 15mm x 10mm with a depth of 20mm.

It needs to be replaced as the interior of this part is missing/broken and it no longer supports the hose relative the vehicle, is anyone able to identify the part and advise on the part number?

Thanks Pete K it may come down to that and they are reasonably cheap.

It is a wonder why a simple approach like that was not used in the first place, was it to provide a cover for the fixing screw, to make it easily detachable without removing the screw and/or provide a certain degree of float.

Maybe check on Advanced Factors website. They have small diagrams with part numbers for things such as these. Although it may not be on there due to probably only being one of those on the truck?

Hi

Plus 1 what everyone has recommend

Looks like that’s for the air suspension , think some of the cable ties clip into some holes in the chassis or to another pipe , pipes for the struts are normally green , so that may be for air compressor inlet filter , isn’t the silencer as they are larger

Can’t really be sure if these will work, normally pipes etc come with the fasteners attached so indeed the link @pete k linked to will also do the job

Also don’t think it’s a cable , but of course never know

Also look for hellerman cable ties

If u look on the back of the cable tie with a magnifying glass there are sometimes numbers on the back

Hope that also helps

Via an internet search I have identified what I am after (in a Land Rover D3 air suspension training description) as the clip/cable tie base on the air suspension hose between the Air Intake Filter and the Air Supply Unit Silencer (see diagram below). However, as this was only a description document it did not include part numbers, so I am still after the part number for the clip/cable tie base if anyone can help.

Hi

Great, so it was the air inlet filter , not a bad guess Laughing

The inlet filter is part number RQB000418

The silencer and the compressor inlet filter are 2 x separate parts , Took ages looking through part catalogues and looks like that clip comes with the air inlet filter

However I’ll keep searching to see if I may be able to find just the clip for u , but alas no luck so far

Hope that at least helps u in a small way that u know there 2 x separate parts

Can u see if the clip part is still on the air inlet filter and if u can take a picture of it plse , thks

Also hope the above links may help
