IID Tool not showing all ECUs ?
Hi,
Just a quick question if this has been seen before. I just received the IID Tool BT (firmware 4.0 latest) the other day and been updating etc. with it. Working nicely, but wondering how it is that in the ECU scan;
- Parking Aid
- Parking Brake
- Traffic Message
and some more do not show up ?
PDC is on front/rear and the front are complaining every now and then, parking brake... yup, is there too. Traffic Message is even a standard error in the faults (about antenna stuff).
It's a L319 from 06 HSE..
Again, just wondering why those ECU's don't show up as it's clear that at least some are there..
--Thanks

That screen is just showing the software status from GAP/JLR. It says whether there is an update available, no information available for updates or the software is up to date.
If you click on the name for each ECU, if it's present and working it will return part number information for ecu and software.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

Ah,
Now that should be put in the manual to explain the list, right now it seems as though the ECU was checked and not found (at least, that’s how I read ‘no assembly exists’).
Just did a check on the parking aid and indeed it did show the hardware version and nothing about software..
Thanks, that cleared it up ---

Welkom!
Tip:
Eerst ff voorstellen wordt wel gewaardeerd!
Regarding, what “should” be in the manual or not... this is not a common complaint...If you ask me.. but you could tell the firm who develops and produce the IID... GAP
Although If you read the manual, it is quite extensive allready Best regards
