Hello, I m new owner of D3 and it is 2008 tdv6 se with halogen light, I planning to convert to D4 before 2014 style, I already researched in this forum, but I have 0 knowledge on wiring and ccf. now I was confused with the D4 headlights in the market, some halogen and xenon and afs conering light, can xenon one plug and play with my D3? Will Oem front bumper and front wings direct fit without modifications? Also I want to keep the D3 texture wheel arch, can it fit to D4 bumper? Sorry for too many questions. Any help would be appreciate. Thanks

DominicFam - Welcome
With a 2008 Discovery I think I would attend to the essentials first. How are the belts & the oil pump, has the gearbox had a megaflush etc...?
Good luck.

The Timing belt and oil pump were both replaced by pre-owner in 2018, and my D3 is around 100000miles, also time to change gearbox oil. Thanks for your advise and remind.

I have driven it for a few months, turned the halogen headlight to xenon (flash for a while when turn on) and D4 rear light with resistor, replaced new good year tyres, engine oil, air filter and recharge air con, touchwood it looks good. Just the coolant sensor is fail, dashboard always show low level. Next months time to MOT will full service and fix it. I love the D4 before facelift headlight so plan to convert to D4 front. Thanks:o

It is always good to do an introduction first https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/welcome-dis...llo-5.html before first post for help...
Then people “know“ a little-bit about you and your motor, so you get “better” /fitting advice..
Just a tip, not meant to be rude.. Best regards
Harold
