I am referring to these knobs on the android unit.
Hi Sandy, I've got a 2016 Land Rover Discovery4 HSE luxury. My software is Bosch. Do you by any chance know anyone in the UK who can help me install the tesla style unit? Also do you know if the steering controls will still work?. Cheers
This unit replaces the entire existing unit and integrates with the fiber optic system. It is suitable for your vehicle.I have fitted these and they work well. You will loose the Land Rover 4 x 4 info but it’s replaced in a different format.Steering wheel controls are retained and configurable. As I mentioned in previous posts I don’t fit for profit.

Hi Andy,
Greetings from Down Under
I purchased one of these (with knobs) from AliExpress. All working well but can’t find any info on utilising the HK7 or rear entertainment screens
As you said _instructions are non existent and even communication is answered by an AI translation.
The unit I got didn’t require any mods - all cabling was supplied including the MOST.
Any tips for what connections can be used for the HK7?
I think I can use the video out rca’s to connect to the rear ent. But again interested to hear your thoughts
A couple of before/after shots added
Thanks
Gup

Looks great well done.If you have sound then you are already integrated into the HK 7 logic amplifier and you may need to tweak it with the new equaliser. As for the rse you have lots of spare outputs but it will need some work to figure it out.My rse was retro fit so it was easy.

Thanks Andy,
The audio was part of the harness which included the MOST, power and CANBUS. Which went from the CD power (and upper fibre optic - cd fibre optic was looped).
Would there be any difference connecting the rca into the rca harness that was supplied?
Also I assume since the amp is active that the sub (HKL)7 is also and no additional wiring is required?

I would appreciate to see a short real life video of working the menus, new 4x4 screen, spotify/apps just to get a feel for the menus and unit if anybody could do this.

Mine was plug and play with no additional wiring needed
