TBH if wet carpets brings up problems (as the sills where the wiring is will be full of water) then I can't see a river crossing being a good idea?Series 1 V8

While my boys were at nursery and my D3 and I were a bit younger I used to take the scenic route fording a river most days. Worst that happened was a squeaky fan belt tensioner and pulling out the odd van driver who’d followed his GPS. Oh and having to wade in to retrieve the front number plate once, much to my son’s amusement - he’s still got it on his wall!
