Not having access to laths and things like that, i tried another option which works for me.
I had to replace my wheel nuts due to corrosion under the chrome cover, I used 2 of the old nuts cut the cover off found a bolt that fitted the threads in the nuts cut the head off the bolt threaded into nut then shank sticking out fitted to an old drill.
Run up the drill and used a grinder to grind down bolt flange, this leaves a good fitting socket that screws onto the wheel studs making wheel installation nice and easy, if you fit 3 nuts and pinch up lightly your new locators un screw by hand allowing you to fit the remaining nuts Discovery 3 HSE 07
