when fitting the wheel, they give you 1 or more "easier to locate" pins for sliding the wheel on to rather than 5 protruding bolts all same distance from the hub.

much easier to align. weight of wheel is then supported whilst you slide it onto all 5 bolts.

when removing the wheel, makes it easy to slide it away from the hub before dropping it to the floor.

good bit of kit.
