I would check the service history.
When the belts were changed it may well be that the pump was changed too. If there's no evidence though my advice would be to change the pump (& the belts) without delay.

If you are doing the job yourself read up very carefully & obtain the necessary tools.
I would get a good indy to do the job.

Might pull my brake calipers and replace the slider pins or at least clean and lube them, as I missed that during my total vehicle service, all fluids changed. Found a good guide on Utube for cleaning the galleys of the slider pins. Just changed upper/lower BJ's and TR Ends, still need to get it aligned.
Due for service, so this weekend looks to be greasy and dirty for me.
And from here on we can call it a proper topic hijack....
Someone asks for a tuned file for a diesel and we end op talking about oilpumps on V8 petrol and brake calipers.. etc. And oilpumps for diesels again but For totally different persons..   Best regards

Perfectly natural thread extension. Going from a 2007 remap and things to be aware of, its quite natural to make people aware of the oil pump issue if they are going to add more power to the engine. New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)
