The text that NJSS shared is typical of the methods used by both the far right and far left on social media to get across their message.
This particular one is clever(ish), in that just about every white Male can identify with many of the individual statements, finds them funny or at least apt and decides to post it on and thus it is quickly spread to millions.
This particular one has a couple of not very subtle anti gay and Muslim statements sneaked in to it. The originators know that most people want be bothered to remove these, even if they aren’t anti gays and Muslims. As is the case here.
The same tactic was used, with great success by antisemites in literature published in the decades up to start of WW2. Just one or two subtle digs, read by many, keep repeating it and it’s eventually absorbed by the masses.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

It used to be the case that if you disagreed with these people you were labelled a racist / fascist; these days failing to make an affirmative statement of support is enough to earn the label of a racist / fascist. Every other company, MP, comic and 'celebrity' seem to be making emotional apologies and statements of support - its verging on capitulation (see also Police kneeling).
Whilst discussing this yesterday, the word 'pogrom' was used a couple of times. Doing so is OTT but I can empathise with its use. It would be wholly inappropriate to use the word 'Kristallnacht' (so far) but then too, the authorities stood by and looked-on.
Schools and universities are the madrasses of the 'Woke Taliban'.
Nobody voted for this.
I am so angry about the revisionism and the attacks on British culture. I am going to start reading the Daily Mail...

Is that because the subject is out of its previously well-controlled box? ....sweep it under the carpet ....suppress the issues that minorities are having to deal with daily just because you are sick of it?

There is no need to start deleting things though. I don't think a pseudo-communist state where 'free speech' is actually 'vetted speech' (i.e., you have the right to say what you want - as long as we agree with it) is where we should want to be. Creating divisions and pulling in different directions is not going to help achieve things either.
I can't help thinking that BAME people were sold a pup by the social experiment of multiculturalism - alas, people who dress differently to the majority, speak differently and/or have different values are likely to be treated differently.
For some months I worked with a (black) Bajan chap who told me he regarded as an honour being told a mildly racist joke - it meant people had stopped noticing he was black; a (white) Bajan used to complain that he was treated differently when, having only spoken to people on the 'phone in his heavy accent, he met them in person and they realised he was white.

I too am fed up to the back teeth with apologists. You cannot judge standards from 100, 200, 300, or to be honest even 50 years ago by the standards in play today.
Police and politicans should not be kneeling to appease the mob, they should be upholding the law.
I think we'd all agree that the killing of Mr Floyd was wrong, very wrong but dont tar the whole police force, estabilishment and population with being the same.
There's plenty of bad apples in all shades of the community.
I have also stoped watching/listening to mainstrem news outlets as they are just compounding the issues in looking for the negatives in everything.
