My first Land Rover - D3 2.7 TDV6
Took possession of my first Land Rover on Friday - a 2008 D3 with some D4 facelifts - on my birthday so we anniversary of ownership will be easy to remember π Brought from a forum member and obviously been well looked after. Looking forward to my time looking after the beast!

Did Egr blanking with BAS remap,

Also the both cam plastic covers replaced due leaks
New High presure rails changed new , injectors , new fuel pump , webasto cleaned an fitted back

Might be an idea to change the cam chains and tensioners whilst this is apart, along with the Glow Plugs as its not much more work if the inlets are coming off! It will sound a lot less rattly on startup and potentially remove another couple of known issues if you are keeping the car for a long time.
To be honest if mine was stripped like this I would also be thinking of getting the crank checked and replacing the bearings.
I seriously regret not changing the glow plugs whilst the inlets were off last year on my D3Must stop buying shiny toys....

Looks Great, esp with the snorkel...
I'm in my second year of Disco ownership and have so far spent roughly the same on parts and labour as I did buying the car although I am now up to date with servicing with one exception (air con condenser) and have installed some fresh toys. Done some work myself and paid others to do the rest. Only forum approved mechanics though, this forum has proved invaluable with support from almost every direction.
I intend to spend roughly the same again to complete my wishlist although I'm sure there is still a lot out there that I don't even know I want yet so maybe that number will go up...
