Top marks! I did a bit of hunting on Google but couldn't find any useful info.
I'll get under tonight. Let's see if it does the job?

Fitted the cable, however, I’m sure there was never a cable originally fitted as the hole in the box had no threads cut. Found the body earthing stud. All fitted and jumped up to turn the key, however, no joy. Doh!
Thought I’d try a hard reset, interestingly, the PDC didn’t squeal at me for at least 10 seconds after starting the engine, whether the ECU needed some extra boot up time after the reset. With just ignition on it seems ok, engine on and PDC squeals.
Double checked the resistance of the rear buzzer. Measures ~45ohms, does that sound right?
Still scratching my head on this one...

Hiya
Glad it helped u find the location
Don’t know if you’ve seen this section on parking sensors
Have also included wiring diagrams for u, also see theres 2 x earth points , wonder if these are also ok , one of the Earth points being behind the passenger side footwell behind the panel that has the bonnet release on
Sorry don’t know what the ohms readings should be
Hope that may help a little

Thanks for the link and diagrams, not seen either of those before (I'm a newbie). I'll have a thorough read later.
Cheers,

Looks like this job is gonna be a trouble shooter. Is there a good diagnostic tool that can detect PDC or Canbus issues???

I've got a similar fault having changed all the front sensors and loom and 2 of the rear sensors. I've also tried the 'pressing the PDC on/off button ON for 30 secs until a long beep sounds' to no avail. With all this talk of RFI, I'm now wondering about the cheapish dashcam, extra 12V outlets, etc that I've got sitting in the console and whether they have an influence .... Dave

Although I appear to have an original alternator I thought I would try and be smart and fit a clip on ferrite to the alternator cable. My thoughts were maybe this alternator is breaking down and creating some noise. However the result is still the same, sensors work okay with just ignition on, as soon as I turn the engine on sensors go ape. Is there any way to isolate the alternator while the engine is running to see if this is in fact the root cause, or would this just throw up lots of issues as the system won’t be recharging the battery?

There is a 5A fuse near the battery marked ALT
You could try removing that and see if it stop charging
The charge indicator on the dash has quite a delay. Both coming on and going off

Thanks. I tried this and initially the sensors behaved while the engine was on and then after about five seconds they misbehaved. Maybe the culprit is somewhere else, could the PDC controller be playing up?
Any experiences with a dicky controller?

Did you try to (with the engine running) turn off the PDC from the button in the console, wait a while and turn on again from the console. I am thinking that could be a loose/corroded contact in the pdc module it self. I had some corroded pins leading to similar issues and I am still not sure why it happened.
Or could it also be the vibration from engine on shaking something in the sensors or the loom. Have you try to turn PDC on and 'beat' all around the sensors, loom, etc...?
I was supposed to be in Stoke next week and could use my diag tool to check for the codes on your pdc, but all was cancelled due to corona.
Best thing is if you can see those codes read.

Tried the PDC reset to no avail. I'll have a closer look at the connections at both the PDC switch unit (above stereo head unit) and the PDC controller connections.
I will go around with big stick and beat the sensors into submission. Maybe I do have a loom issue or connection, it is very intermittent although it's only the front buzzer that likes to infuriate me when I turn the engine on. It's not the rear buzzer that sounds off, could this be a clue?
Thanks for your offer, maybe next time.
What diag tool do you have/recommend? I have a launch unit but it's not of any real use with a Disco.
