I learnt my lesson throwing things at an early age trying to bleed a clutch on my own, reversed out of the garage and the pedal went to the floor sending the car shooting backwards. I stopped it and got out and threw the spanner into the garage as hard as i could in an absolute rage, it hit the floor and made a spark right by the bottle of brake fluid setting it on fire.
Luckily i had a 2kg powder extinguisher at hand which put the fire out but i am still cleaning it up 35 years later
Having some fun today changed the dryer receiver on the condenser no problem then started tackling the pump, got the intake pipe of the turbo and out, decided to undo the metal pipe from the turbo as well to give a bit off jiggle room also decided to remove suspension top arm to get more access then called it a day having hands the size of shovels realy isn't helping though tomorrow i think ill be undoing the power steering pump to get more access to the high and low pressure pipes then undoing the pump itself before trying to work out how to get it out, i couldn't believe how many coolant pipes are down there, all in the way of course ive got to find the auto box coolant pipe and a bracket first.
if anyone has any more tips id be very gratefullRange Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car
