Help please !! Cambelt / Oil pump
I've had a day off today to try and get on with my cambelt / oil pump change.
Stage I've got to is stripped down as far as old belt and tensioners removed with locking pins in place. Today was going to be oil pump removed (I'm old and slow now ) So I've managed to drop the starter, fully expecting to see a hole in the flywheel for locking tool, but nothing but a perfectly smooth, hole less surface !!! Have I done something wrong ?

above the hole which the starter uses is a black grommet. Remove it. That is where the locking tool goes in

Thanks.. How did I miss that me been stupid
Grommet isn't easy either without pushing in - it's taken me longer than it did taking starter out. Knowing my luck I will drop it in.
Thanks again for taking time to post the pics

I thought there was a lip where you could get a flat blade screwdriver under

There is, it's just very soft and feels like it's going to go inwards..
