Awesome alloy wheel cleaner....Bilt Hamber |
|
For many years I have struggled to remove that iron oxidation and the yellow staining off my alloy wheels...used to use a variety of products but found recently that they have all become rubbish...and almost a waste of time and money...
Was on the FL2 forum recently and some suggested Bilt Hamber.... omg! What a difference...not acid based but whatever it’s got in it works perfectly!
Thoroughly recommend it...wheels are back to perfect now with very little effort!
Great stuff!

Costco used to do good stuff, if it splashed onto bare arms it did sting a little but the end result was brill. They stopped selling it a few years ago and I bought some other stuff from ECP but it was rubbish. Oh how I miss that little stinging sensation

CarPro TriX is my favourite go to car/wheel cleaner - it’ll take any contaminant off any surface.

Don't tell The Trumper or he will have folk buying it up to drink . . .! A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

TFR or CTFR, great and does not cause the calipers to rust.

I’ve used ValetPRO dragon’s breath for the brake dust and then Autofinesse ObliTARate and ValetPRO Citrus Tar Remover. Seem to work on two cars.

Probably this as I remember it makes it look like you've poured ribena over the wheels but a light scrub and rinse and hey presto! Like farmer chalk recommends, it's the best stuff I've ever used on wheels too.

I’ll have to give the bilt hammer ago. I always used brick acid on my alloys, it had the same smell as wonder wheels and was far cheaper, never caused any problems.
Has anybody used the bilt hammer underbody protection stuff?
