| Drivers electric seat not working |
|
Hi guys,
My drivers seat has stopped working. I have checked the fuses behind the glovebox, heated element works fine. Any ideas gratefully received

When you say it’s stopped working, do you mean it won’t move in any direction including up and down? Do you have any other issues such as mirrors not moving, memory settings not recalled etc? 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

The seat has stopped working in all directions, no memory recall. However the mirrors are still working, the heating still works and the passenger side is unaffected.
I’ve checked the main 30amp fuse, looks ok.

Check the connections underneath? Mine once became detached. d4 HSE

You say you’ve checked the fuses? 40 and 42? Does the Lumbar support work? If not, that is fed via the driver seat module but receives power from a different fuse to the other seat motors. It does however have a common earth so you could have a break in the earth or a bad module. 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)
