[NO LONGER FOR SALE] D4 2012MY 8speed Indus silver
I’ve decided to put my 2012MY (Nov 11) 61 plate Discovery 4 up for sale. It’s the newer 8 speed gearbox model. I bought it as a 1 owner car in Nov15 with 50000m and a full main dealer history. Since then it’s been maintained and serviced to a very high standard by specialist independents ( see below) and cherished, not abused. The sale can include a Transferable ( at £50 cost) Warranty Direct ExtraCare policy to Oct 20. MOT to Oct20. Last serviced Dec19.
It’s a high spec GS model with full leather interior, 7 seats, cruise control, privacy glass and tow hitch wiring (never used and no towball).
The car’s now on 89000m but has developed a leak from the crossover pipe so you get a hiss on acceleration until the second turbo kicks in. No fault codes. I’m testing the market to see whether anyone who’s good with a bag of spanners wants to buy for £8500.
It’s never been used offroad, or for towing, or had dogs/ children / heavy materials inside to damage the interior. Outside there are no dents, dings or scrapes.
Service schedule - always using the correct specification oil and replacing all filters each time:

Brake discs and pads replaced recently. Brake pipes and flexis replaced. Lower suspension arms replaced and front and rear valve blocks. The suspension doesn't lose air or settle if left unused. Gearbox oil has had 2 partial changes in 2016 using correct Lifeguard ZF8.
It’s a lovely car and a good bargain if you have the capability of fixing the pipe yourself.
I’ll update with current pics when my current manflu subsides, but here’s some for now.

Car goes in for crossover pipe replacement on Mar 30th so won’t be available at the above price after that date D4 GS 12MY

Hi, with the crossover pipe done it would be £10,500. It’s a body off job to replace the pipe, although some have done it by removing or dropping the gearbox but that probably takes longer and there’s the risk of rounding off a bolt holding the pipe and having to remove the body anyhow. So I’m taking it to a specialist who’ve got the facilities and the experience D4 GS 12MY

Crossover pipe and several other bits replaced, and it’s now running perfectly. And having spent so much money I’m keeping it No longer for sale...sorry.D4 GS 12MY
