Hi,
Does anyone know if the above will work? My wife's RRS spare is knackered and I am getting a set of spare / winter wheels and was thinking I could use one as a spare for her RRS saving me having to get her one and adding justification to me buying the wheels! Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

Hi,
depends which RRS she has
ISTR that early RRS1 SE's had 18" as standard but it will depend on the pattern/shape of the wheel, think they were a multi spoke design
If she has a TDV8 or RRS2 then doubtfull

The stud pattern will be the same, it would be a question of whether the 18" wheel will clear the brake calipers.
Someone else may be able to answer that one.
Tyre size may also be different, but that shouldn't really pose a problem if it's just a spare. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

With regard to use, she rarely leaves the village so it would be just to get her home, so no long journeys on the spare and if we did then I assume it would be OK if we kept to 50mph as per space saver wheels? Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

It will likely fit the rear but you may need to test on the front, especially if you have the Brembos. 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)
