Long term issue which myself and the garage are running low on ideas to find the fault!
As far back as last summer by steering wheel started to vibrate, slightly at most speeds but very noticeably around 70mph. It's like the wheels are badly out of balance.
So far I've had;
Wheels balanced
Arms replaced front and rear
Wheels aligned
Parts of the steering replaced
Wheels aligned again
Wheels balanced by the garage - then checked by another garage.
Centre Baring replaced - Told this was definitely the problem.
Even told to remove my roof box incase of aerodynamic issues.
Still the problem remains the same!
Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Thanks, sorry forgot to say, that was checked in the recent garage trip yesterday and they say its fine!
Should also say, the garage tried on another Discovery wheels and the problem remains, so my wheels must be ok.

I had an issue similar, it turned out to be the brake pedal switch not positioned correctly, brake pedal was hard and not travelling enough to fully release the callipers, the brakes were always slightly on which after a few miles warmed the discs which expanded from the heat and gave me a terrible vibration. They re positioned the switch and replaced discs and pads at no cost and never had the fault since. It did take them 4 or 5 visits to find it though MY18 RRS Autobiography Fuji White

Ahh, that's interesting. I have noticed there's a lot of brake dust on one particular wheel (even though I keep the car clean) Perhaps the brakes are tugging on the wheel / warping the disk.

Whilst it does sound like a brake issue given the excess dust on one wheel also bear in mind Technical Bulletin LTB00400.
This concerns shimmy of the wheel at highway speeds for the LHD LR4 and facelift RRS.
I also have the issue with my RRS at 70mph and am considering what to do next... Kev

After driving i put a temperature gun on the discs and one disc was twice as hot as the other 3, thats when the LR tech guy started looking at the brakes MY18 RRS Autobiography Fuji White

I had a similar issue with our old D3. It was one of the reasons we eventually got rid of it.
I had different wheels, tyres, new bearings and all suspensions arms & links, multiple discs and pads. No matter what, it came back. It was almost undriveable above 60mph.
When we swapped it for the new D4 last month, I took a few things off the old D3, including the 3mm spacers I had behind the wheels. Piff paff poof - the wobble was completely gone on the drive to the garage!
So, I’m guessing it was to do with either the spacers or the mating surface between wheel and hub. I’ve seen other people on here mention they thought it was the interface between wheel and hub that was contaminated or out of true too.
I’ve also seen people mention that if you go above 19” wheels there can be a “shimmer” with some cars. I originally put it down to this, although I don’t believe it’s applicable to the D4. Cheers,
