Disco 4, Judder at cruise speeds
Hi for the last few days on my 13 plate Discovery 4 SDV6 HSE, after driving for about an hour at cruise speeds, the engine starts to splutter slightly like a loss off power and judder. If I excelarate it goes away or if I take the power off it goes away.
Cruise and it carrys on juddering. If I pull over stop the engine and restart and carry on it is fine again for a while before it starts again. It only does this on long journeys. Any ideas of what the cause is or has anyone had similar issues.

I had this on a golf diesel (wife’s car) I had at slight judder at around 75 cruising, if you accelerated to 77 or kept it at 73 it would disappear, I never found the issue though and took it for characteristics of the car.2015 D4 HSE Loire Blue

Could be the crank shaft sensor.

Possibly fuel starvation due to filter blockage or fuel delivery fault. If its an electronic failure diagnostics should point the way.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
