Suspension down brake pad long travel vague steering.

Disco 3 200k miles diesel.
Where to start, for a few month i have had a intemintant gringing noise from the rear right hand corner.A month ago i found i had a sticking front left brake calipar which i changed and bleed the caliper, which sorted that problem but not the main one.On second investigation i discovered there was no brake lining materaial at all on the hand right hand side handbrake shoe, i replaced these, removed and visually checked all the wheels etc bleed the caliper again to make sure but still the same problem.

After driving 10 miles yesterday everything got worse the suspension went down steering became vague and long brake pedal travel. Managed to crawl the last 5 miles home.
Today i checked for brake leaks but all fine. Removed and test the air suspension including testing it to a battery that seemed fine.
Any ideas.
