Happy new year all!
I've had some near misses with an EGR valve lately. I had the eml come on but it went out after I put some Forte injection cleaner in, drove down to Hereford and back and drove over some deep potholes which seem to have loosened the valve and cleared the light, I've also deleted the stored fault with my neighbour's plug-in.
I've got Mike from Dynachip coming over first thing tomorrow hopefully to do all the remap and EGR stuff and I shall let you know how we get on.

I'm gonna get mike over to remap our d3 he did our old d2 and transformed it. He then did my mates freelander 2 again transformed it he could spin all 4 wheels off the lights. I deleted out egrs recently and the flapper mod while I was their.
Keen to hear your results the d3 commercial my mate runs was previously mapped by some one else and is streets ahead of mine.

Well, I'm a happy chappy. Much better all round compared with the performance before. EGR's are still stuck so I'm going to have to mechanically sort them out id they don't loosen up by going over big bumps.

If they’ve been blanked, why do you still need to sort the EGRs out.....? Bodsys Brake Bible

I wasn’t posting to get the business, I was just curious why the EGRs still need to be fixed.....? I think I know why, but curious what they’d told Steve. Bodsys Brake Bible

Hi there mate, I knew you were a wizard at most things Disco; but I didn't know you mapped too. Anyway, I've been told that the (or both) valves are stuck open. The remap tells them to close, but if they are physically stuck open then they can't. All I have to do is either replace or clean or somehow get them to close. When we did an OBD (not GAP) plug-in the code was P0406 - EGR circuit, which I keeps having to clear, just to get rid of the annoying light more than anything.
