Hi, was wondering if any body does any coding for the disco 5 yet or whether it's all read only?
Thanks Mike

Afraid not. Not sure if it would be developed simply because the demand isn’t there. People tend to get the D5 of their choice straight from the factory.

I'm just after a few bits switching on, can you edit everything with path finder or is it lucky dip?
And is it something you are able to do disco_mikey.
Thanks Mike

It does amaze me how nobody has come up with software to edit the 5 yet, even basics things like the centre fridge can't be added which I just find crazy.
I'm sure it will come with time I'd just like it now ☺️

My apologies in advance for being totally thick - but for an accurate response, is this not a question best asked on the D5 forum? ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Well thank you for your input chaps, you've just endorsed what's wrong with the D5.
If you can't even get the specific 'all but dead' D5 forum to talk to you and answer your D5 concerns, why do you have to resort to some 'dinosaur' (D3/D4) forum to answer you questions?
It really does put things into question !
Please don't get me wrong, it's a nice car for those that like it.
Btw, can't understand why some D5 owners still proport to own a D4/D3 by having them in their sig strip ..... why do they feel the need to convey false information when they've abandoned the model? ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

There is insufficient numbers on that forum atm. A bit like the sister Disco Sport forum.
It may have been appropriate imho to have incorporated them in this forum as the D4 was, but that’s not my decision.
Likewise, if people ask D5 questions on here because, it’s because there are folk that might be able to answer a question. It’s just simple logistics, it’s not indicative of how popular or successful the D5 is, to get that from a simple post is obtuse.
Also, although my old D4 may have been abandoned, there no D5 symbol and at least the D4 conveys to others that you might have some knowledge of that model. I can’t really see why you object to it, but why not complain about it if you feel strongly about it.
Personally, it’s just one of those things I didn’t think to change, it wasn’t a conspiracy and I can’t see why it matters to you.
