Believe the original engine failed due to cam chain breaking, and sonreplaced this with an NWS engine, which was a big mistake, as others will also tell you.
They use a crank that they have made in China apparently, it did last 40k miles, had learnt been breaking down for a whike, as iron filings in the oil. Big ends went! And certainly not an engine I would want returning. So I opted for a brand new LR engine.
Very pleased so far.
Love this car, and loads of new parts, so warranted new engine given how good the rest of the car is.
